Darryl God Whiting Speaks: O.U.R. (continuation) & Y.B.C. Project

Now to let everyone know a little bit more about what we're doing O.U.R's first project of 2023 will be to get its summer Y.B.C project started. The Y.B.C project is the Youth Business Cooperative. And what that is, is a project to have the youth from the ages of 10-15 put up $100 a piece for goods and and services to collectively operate street vending businesses that provide a variety of goods and services to people along Blvd's, Avenues, and streets so they earn enough money to cover their college tuition's, start small businesses, companies, corporation, franchises and to secure chosen careers and their financial futures.

To do this we'll have talks with gang representatives, church pastors, and public officials about O.U.R putting together and sponsoring 10 cooperative street vending businesses in groups of 10 youths in their neighborhoods consisting of boys and girls from the ages of 10-15 who will be taught on how to occupy positions of president, vice president, chair person, manager, supervisor, book keeper, cashier, sales and maintenance. These groups will provide a variety of goods and services that will allow them to earn a minimum of $500 tax free a day until they're 18 Mon-Fri earning $2,500 a week, $10,000 a month and $30,000 over the 3 month summer school break period from June-Sept. This will be conducted in the 10 most troubled states. Each state having 10 groups of ten. Each group earning $10,000 a month, $30,000 over the summer for a collective total of 3M tax free. All proceeds over $500 and money earned on Sat. will be divided up equally between the youth for spending. Gang members of the specified ages, gang members' children, and youth of the community wanting to be participants in the Y.B.C project must submit their name and guardian's permission and will be drawn from a lottery. Each youth must have and maintain good grades in school or attend tutoring classes to improve grades, stay out of trouble, be good workers, and work well with others.

The youth will be taught the fundamentals of business law, business, bylaws, charters, job titles, job descriptions, starting salaries, board of directors, and board meetings to considered and decide how their earnings will be saved, utilized, or invested in a business, company, corporation, or franchise.

Partnership contracts will be drawn up for the youth to sign and parents to co-sign specifying the terms of the partnership and a separate contract will be drawn for the youth, parents, and O.U.R specifying the terms of their sponsorship.
